Athens Greeters offers you a unique insight into the city of Athens through the eyes of our residents. Local volunteers act as hosts for two-to-three hour visits to the destination or for the activity of your choice. Whether you want to learn more about the museums and the archeological sites, experience nightlife, take a neighborhood stroll or a walk in the beach we have a host for you! Our volunteers are passionate about Athens and city’s numerous places of interest.

About Athens Greeters
Athens Greeters is a non-profit organization that matches visitors with friendly and enthusiastic citizens of Athens who are happy to share the city they love with families, friends, and individuals travelling solo. A visit with a Greeter leaves a lasting impression of the city, the warmth of its people, and the energy and diversity of its neighbourhoods, which each visitor carries forever and communicates to others.
